What are the best and worst parts of being an esthetician?

requirements

The best part I think of my job is not only that I get to meet people, but I get to hear their stories. I could have a teenager tell me a funny story that would be off the wall, but I hear from grown adult that’s in their thirties and they just keep me laughing or I’ll have a 74 year old woman in my chair or on the table tell me something that happened in their lifetime that is just hilarious. And then of course some of the sad things coming with it, deaths in family and stuff. But that’s what it’s all about when it comes to my job. We are so committed to relationship and bonding with each other that they just keep coming for more treatments. The worst part of esthetics job now is someone that comes in and have maybe a sun damaged spot on their face that’s been there for nine years and they want me to do one treatment thinking that it’s gonna go away and of course guessing how long that’s sun damaged spot’s been on their face and say, oh, I’m not sure I remember, I’ve had it forever. And I’m like, Okay, well, one year, two year. Oh no, nine years and you’re like okay, well one treatment is not gonna get rid of it. But other than that, it’s not anything bad. The worst part of my job is really nothing other than that.
